How to reach us

By Car

European Route E35, exit Lugano Sud. Left at the first traffic light. Hotel entrance located after 30m on the right.

The motorway sticker costs CHF 40. It is valid until 31 Jan next year. Stickers for a day, a week or a month do not exist.

Parking

Guests can use the outdoor parking lot for free, if a space is available (not bookable). Few underground spaces are also available at CHF 20 per night in our garage and can be booked in advance. Max. height 2 metres.

Alternatives, if the car park and the garage are full, are the parking garages located 5 min. on foot from the hotel: Autosilo Comunale Paradiso or Autosilo Palazzo Mantegazza (24h-fee approx CHF 45.-).

Three charging stations with socket type 2 for Tesla and EV are also installed at the property and are not bookable in advance. Charging is free for Tesla. Other car models pay CHF 9 per hours. We recommend to take with you your own adapter.

Train / Flight

Lugano Train Station: one way taxy CHF 15.- or bus n.2 to Paradiso till the bus stop S.Birgitta (6 minutes). After 50 m hotel on the left.

Lugano Airport: one way taxy CHF 33.- (12 minutes).

MXP-Milan airport: one way taxy CHF 190.- (60 minutes) or www.malpensaexpress.ch up to Lugano Train station.

Open from June to September. The swimming pool measures 13.2 x 6.8 m with a depth between 1.4 and 1.6 m. Sun loungers are, UPON AVAILABILITY, for the exclusive use of hotel guests. Bath towels will be also available at the reception.

Hotel de la Paix is a very lovely hotel with high quality service, helpful staff, comfortable beds, nice view and location in Lugano Paradiso. I would recommend it highly for couples or business travelers.

We arrived late and surprised by upgrade. Location is very short walk from lake and sights.. They have great views of lake and mountains. They have free parking right next to hotel. Staff was great. Would recommend highly.

Lugano offers public transport throughout the city, that you can use for free with the Ticino Ticket. Ask for it upon check-in.

The bus stop Santa Birgitta and Via Cattori are located just outside the hotel. From / to the city centre take the bus n2 from Santa Birgitta or the the bus n1 from the Imbarcadero (pier) in Paradiso (2 min. on foot from the Hotel).
